Our education

"The purpose of education is to develop educational, social and emotional skills that will allow us to live in well-being among others. Undoubtedly, the world of the 21st century has brought many changes to our environment, the way we spend our free time, social roles, the treatment of children, people with special needs and the ways of communication between people. One thing has remained unchanged:
the way our brains function."
"For knowledge to enter the mind, children must experiment, act on their own, and move."
At STIF we work very intensively at school because we don't give homework.
We organize thematic educational trips.
The classes are conducted in a varied and active manner, we assume that students will work with textbooks for up to 2/5 of the lesson time.
We constantly work on giving constructive feedback to students – which means a lot of work on ourselves on the part of the students.
Three times a year, we invite students and their parents to consultations with teachers . We strive to foster students' responsibility for their own education , so we believe their attendance at these meetings is crucial.
Our education is based on empowering young people by acquiring skills , overcoming challenges , and empowering themselves during week-long trips without their parents. Knee-bumps while learning to ski, snowboard, or bike, and weekly walks to the pool and back.
Responsibility for keeping the classroom tidy, wiping down the dining room tables, project work, the "Reading to Preschoolers" campaign - and many more.
This approach requires, first and foremost, parents who are committed to this type of education. Eight years is a time of many changes.
Trust and cooperation are crucial for the coherent development of young people.
Exams
We accept children without entrance exams .
We are proud of our children, regardless of the knowledge we welcomed them with and the results they graduate with, because they are extraordinary young people.
We know they can handle [amazingly!]
at the next stage of education , because they can think , draw conclusions , cooperate .
We treat the eighth-grade exam as information, not a goal.
It verifies skills in Polish and mathematics. However, there are many more areas to explore your passions and talents, and they are not measured by an exam.
Any time spent testing that is measured is time taken away from education.
Three times a year we invite students and their parents for consultations with teachers.
